Discovered some upcoming DLC info from the Monster Hunter Wilds website:
And here are the current events launched this evening:
The Kut-Ku Gone Cuckoo event seems to be for a Mimiphyta Alpha headpiece.
The Stalking Supper quest awards a unique cooking ingredient Sharp Kunafa Cheese, Kunafa Cheese, along with rare chances for Wyvern Gem. I also seemed to get quite a few Advanced Armor Spheres from this quick quest.

When riding to a monster or in the field, hold LT (focus mode) then the D-pad up or down to select items as they appear on the left side of your screen, then hit O (collect it with your clutch claw).

Add Signal to your radial menu to quickly ping your location on the map for other hunters. It is under the far right "?" menu

Pay attention to rare gathering, mining, collecting nodes as they spawn. It will pop up on your screen. I saw a Collossal Amber Emergence spawn, went to it and got an Eternal Scarlet Amber.
