MH Wilds 11 - Armorcharm and Powercharm!

Short session, but discovered a few things. It's important to focus on side quest missions also. They will grant double monster hunts, palico gadgets and some great item rewards (like the Armorcharm and Powercharm).

The Armorcharm gives you DEF +12 when carrying it on you in your pouch. After reaching a certain point in the main storyline, Cobb will eventually be waiting for you in Suja where he'll give you the Side Mission: Secure Wounded Hollow, where you'll have to Hunt 2 Hirabami. Once completed you will get the Armorcharm.
The Powercharm gives you ATK +6 (raw). After completing the Side Mission: Secure Wounded Hollow from Cobb, talk to Rex and get the quest As Gatekeeper. Hunt 2 Ajarakan within the Wounded Hollow and once completed you will get the Powercharm. Carry it with you in your pouch wherever you go.

More intensive guide to come, but once you get to 8* missions and start get lvl 8 rarity artisan parts, you can start crafting lvl 8 Artisan weapons that can be stronger than any weapon you can craft. Basic idea - find the 3 types, blades, disc and tubes. Depending on the weapon you are making, it will need some combination of the three. Combine the same types together (i.e. Thunder Affinity x3 and you will make a potentially good Thunder crit chance weapon, Thunder Attack x3 and you will make a potentially good high damage Thunder raw dmg weapon, rinse and repeat with whatever element or status element you are looking for.
Next after you have your weapon - you can reinforce (upgrade) the weapon a total of 5 times. The best material to reinforce with is Oricalcite. Go to Azuz and talk to the NPC at the Smelting Foundry. (NOT the Everforge.) There you can turn excess amounts of monster materials into more Oricalcite.
